The round hole perforation is the most popular type of perforated pattern. We can cut to size to your specific requirements.
Perforated metal is described by the hole size and the pitch. The pitch is the distance from the centre of one hole to the centre of the adjacent holes. All our perforated sheets are on a triangular pitch.
Perforated sheets are very useful for guarding and balustrading where a strong smooth finish is required with a small aperture.
We supply perforated round hole from stock in galvanised and stainless steel. Mild steel is available but you will need to call in for prices as there are minimum order requirements on non stock items.
P3@5 (3mm hole 5mm pitch) is the most popular perforated sheet for its combination of strength and open area.
P4@5 is used for window guards where high visibilty is required but with a small apeture to stop small thrown objects.
Perforated metal has a wide range of uses. It is mainly used in the building trade for architectural purposes such as balustrades, gangways and stairs,screening. It has more industrial uses such as ventilation, filtration, Sorting tables, acoustic panels and anti slip flooring.
